Who Can Enter

1.  To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the KBSI/WDKA viewing area.  This contest is limited to the first 25,000 entrants. 

2.  Employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., Sinclair, Properties, LLC, and any other company that owns programs or provides other services to television broadcast station KBSI and WDKA (collectively, the “Stations”), WDKA Acquisition Corp., Martindale Chevrolet (the “Sponsor”), American Hole ‘n One, Inc., their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any and all local television broadcast and cable stations, local radio and other media companies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.  The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren.  Only one winner per household if more than one winner per contest.

How to Enter

(a)  No purchase is necessary to enter.  Authorized account holder of the mobile telephone number associated with the entry is considered the entrant.  Qualified entrants may enter once.

(b)  To enter, text “WIN” to the short code 43817 and opt in to receive a “prize code” that corresponds to three (3) possible winning prizes.  Standard text messaging rates apply to all text message entries sent. No mechanically reproduced or completed entries will be accepted.

(c)  The contest starts on Monday April 19, 2010 and ends at 5 p.m. CT on May 1, 2010 (the “Contest Period”).  Station is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries, printing errors, server unavailability, computer or other electronic malfunction, or if text message is not received.

(d)  During the Contest Period, entrants will bring their mobile phone with the  “prize code” to the dealership and enter the “prize code” into the “Lucky Lock” to see  which of three (3) possible prizes they have won..  All code numbers are winners of three (3) possible prizes.  Their will be one code which corresponds to the grand prize, and one code that corresponds to the second place prize.  All other codes will win the third place prize.  Entrants who fail to present their prize code within the Contest Period will not receive a prize.  It is possible that the grand prize and second place prize will not be given away if the corresponding “prize code” is not received by Martindale Chevrolet by 5:00 p.m. CT on May 1, 2010.  The maximum number of entrants is 25,000.  The winning prize code entered into the Lucky Lock for the grand prize must be confirmed by Sponsor by opening a sealed envelope containing the grand prize winning number.  The number on the Lucky Lock and the contained in the sealed envelope must match.  All prize codes entered must exactly match the prize code received via text message.

(e)  All entries received that are duplicate, tampered with, incorrect, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void.  All entries become the property of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc. and the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned.
     
(f)  In the event of a malfunction of the Lucky Lock, then the contest shall be immediately canceled.

The Prize(s)

1.  The grand prize is one 2010 Chevrolet Silverado [2010 Chevrolet Silverado] pickup truck from Martindale Chevrolet valued at $20,000.  The second place prize is one $1,000 pre-paid Mastercard.  Each third place prize is  three (3) gold coins valued at $3.00.   

2.  Winners must come to the dealership in order to claim their prize in person.  Before claiming prizes, winners must provide their correct name, address and telephone number to Martindale Chevrolet at the time of notification.  Winners must sign and return a release and affidavit of eligibility, which must be received within 10 days of notification.  Winners must show picture identification and text code to claim prizes.  Station and Sponsor reserve the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the prize based on the identification presented.

3.  If a winner does not timely return the affidavit of eligibility within 10 days, then the prize will be forfeited.   If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of Martindale Chevrolet.

4.   There will be no substitutions for prizes except at the sole discretion of Station.  The Station has the right to substitute a prize of similar value.  No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.

5.  The winners are responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes. The winner of the Chevrolet Silverado must have a valid state driver’s license, provide proof of automobile insurance, and may be required to sign additional documents as required by Martindale Chevrolet.  The winner of the Chevrolet Silverado is also responsible for add-ons, insurance premiums, maintenance expenses, gasoline, and any other fees and expenses associated with the truck, including but not limited to, registration, tag and title fees.

6.  Contestants are eligible to win only one prize within any 365 day period, regardless of the number of contests entered.

7 Sinclair, Properties, LLC,  WDKA Acquisition Corp., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. are not liable if the provider of any part of the prize fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the prize. 

8.  Sinclair Properties, LLC, WDKA Acquisition Corp., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.

9.  In claiming your prize, you acknowledge that Sinclair Properties, LLC, WDKA Acquisition Corp., Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. have the right to publicize your name, character, likeness, photograph, voice and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.

Odds of Winning/Miscellaneous

1.  Odds of winning the grand prize is 1 in 25,000.  The odds of winning the second grand prize is 1 in 25,000.  All correct text messages received will win the third grand prize.

2.  Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at 806 Enterprise, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703_ and on the Station’s website at www.kbsi23.com.

3.  For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to 806 Enterprise, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703 by May 15, 2010.

4.  This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.  Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc. Sinclair Properties, LLC, WDKA Acquisition Corp., American Hole ‘n One, Inc., and Martindale Chevrolet accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.

5.  Station cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes or contest information.  Station is not responsible for any computer or electronic malfunction, server unavailability, technological glitch, or human error relating to this contest and/or the use of short-code.

6.  Station reserves the right to make rules and contest changes and change the aforementioned contest dates.

7.  Mobile service provider may charge for each text message sent and received according to its standard text messaging rates. Entrants should check phone capabilities for specific text messaging instructions and consult with mobile service provider regarding pricing plans. Entrants must be a mobile service subscriber with text messaging service, using a participating service provider in order to enter via this method. Not all mobile phone providers carry the necessary service to participate.
