GRAVES COUNTY, KY (Heartland News at 9) - Officials with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of farm equipment that happened on Tuesday, May 14.

Officials said Grain Bin unloading Auger was taken from a farm between the area of Fancy Farm and the St. Denis community in Hickman County.

The theft happened on County Line Rd. south of Rule Shack Rd. in Graves County according to officials.

Within the past two days, officials said suspects removed the GSI Grain Bin Unloading Auger with Motor from a grain bin located on the victim’s farm.

The equipment is valued at anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000.

The same victim reported an identical theft on March 14 from another farm he owns in Hickman County, Kentucky off KY Hwy 307 according to officials.

Officials said the same piece of equipment was stolen from a grain bin there. That theft is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police.
