BARDWELL, KY (Heartland News at 9) - A western Kentucky man is facing drug related and attempted burglary charges following a search at his residence in Bardwell.

According to the Carlisle County Sheriff’s Office, the search warrant was executed on Oak Street.

Jason Busby, 35, was out on a $250 bond from a prior drug charge.

A gram of meth, a meth pipe and a butane torch.

He was charged with possession of controlled substance first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Busby was served with a criminal summons out of Graves County for traffic violations. He was also served with a summons out of Carlisle County from an incident last week, where he and April Purcell of Ballard County were caught on camera trying to break into a building near Cunningham, Ky.

The Ballard County Sheriff’s Office found Purcell and served her with a criminal summons charging her with attempted burglary third degree.
