PADUCAH, KY (Heartland News at 9) -
A suspicious person reported led to the arrest Thursday, August 8 of a Missouri man wanted for parole violation.
Officers were dispatched about 3:15 a.m. to McDonald’s, 3480 Clark’s River Road, in reference to a suspicious person where they found Terence M. Davis, 24, of St. Louis, Mo.
Davis told officers he was in a vehicle accident a few days prior, and had wrecked a vehicle loaned to him by a friend in Georgia.
Officers found in Davis’ backpack a Georgia license plate. A computer check revealed the vehicle to which the license plate belonged was reported stolen. Officers found the vehicle, impounded at a local wrecker service.
They learned Davis had been involved in a wreck August 1 in McCracken County, and the vehicle had been towed and impounded.
Davis was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property and as a fugitive from justice. He is wanted in Missouri for parole violation. He was booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.
