SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTGS) — The ramp from eastbound I-16 to I-516 in Savannah, Georgia was closed earlier Tuesday due to a loose cow, according to the Savannah Police Department.
The brown cow was spotted just off the roadway in a field of grass. Law enforcement vehicles and Animal Control vehicles lined the on-ramp as they tried to corral the animal.
One Animal Control specialist was seen walking toward the animal with a bucket of feed to entice it closer. They captured the cow around 1:31 p.m.
The Savanah Police Department thanked the public for their patience while they "moooove it out the way."
