NORCROSS, Ga. (SBG) — People looking to get a taste of Waffle House’s famous breakfast while stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic will have to wait.
The chain started selling its waffle mix in its online store Wednesday morning and ran out of stock less than four hours later.
Waffle House started shutting down hundreds of locations in March due to coronavirus concerns. Many other locations were also forced to limit services to dine-in only and the chain started offering delivery through Postmates in some cities on Thursday.
The restaurant said it is adding more cities to the delivery service daily.
For those who missed out on the first batch of waffle mix, the restaurant said on Twitter it is expecting to restock in about a week or so.
